Job Description:
Weldun Media is seeking an offline and online editor to work as part of our E-Sports TV Show post-production team. The editor must have a strong ability to tell a story through editing, executing the vision of the directors and the producers, and staying within the creative bible of the show. We are looking for someone that has excellent time management skills, able to work long hours, deadline driven and well versed in postproduction industry workflow and standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Offline Editing (Creative)
- Assemble and edit long- and short-form content for the show (Episodes, Promos, Inserts, branded content, social media content)
- Shape narrative structure, pacing, and emotional impact
- Collaborate with directors and producers during creative development
- Manage versioning and revisions based on internal and client feedback
- Maintain strong storytelling standards aligned with brand objectives
Online Editing (Finishing)
- Perform final conform and picture lock
- Colour correction and grading (where applicable)
- Audio balancing and final mix prep
- Graphics integration and basic motion finishing
- Quality control across formats and aspect ratios
- Prepare and export final deliverables for broadcast, digital, and social platforms
Required Education and Experience:
- 5+ years’ professional editing experience in a production house, agency, or broadcast environment
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential)
- Working knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Audition
- Experience delivering for broadcast and digital platforms
- Solid understanding of codecs, formats, and post-production workflows
- Strong file management and media organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
