Entry Requirements
To enter, participants must:
- Submit a 1-minute video reviewing their favourite sports or esports moment.
- Ensure the content is original and created by the entrant.
- Post the video on Instagram, TikTok, or X, tagging the Weldun Media official account and using the campaign hashtag: #WeldunPresenter.
- Use a public profile – private accounts will not be considered.
- Entries close at 23:59 on Friday, 11th July 2025. Late entries will not be considered.

- Introduction
The Female TV Presenter Search 2025 is organised by Weldun Media, a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including its affiliates, partners, agents, and associates (collectively referred to as the “Organisers”).
By entering the Competition, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organisers. The Organisers’ decisions are final and binding in all matters, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Eligibility
To enter the Competition, applicants must:
Identify as female.
- A South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid South African ID and/or passport.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of entry.
- Be multilingual – fluent in English and at least one additional official South African language.
- Have a strong interest in sports and/or esports.
- Reside in Johannesburg for the duration of the competition.
- Note: Employees, directors, and agents of the Organisers (and their immediate families or partners), and any persons directly involved in the production or marketing of the Competition, are not eligible to enter.
- Selection Process
- Entries will be judged on: Originality, On-camera confidence, Fluency in South African languages, Knowledge of sports/esports, Overall presentation skills.
- Shortlisted finalists may be required to attend an in-person or virtual audition.
- No professional presenting experience is required.
- The winner will be contacted by Monday, 21 July 2025, and will be notified via telephone, SMS, or email no later than Wednesday, 23 July 2025.
- Winners to be selected at the discretion of the producers.
- Competition Prize
The prize includes:
- A presenting opportunity on a Weldun Media, produced television show.
- Training, mentorship, and the potential for ongoing presenting opportunities.
- Note: The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Organisers make no guarantees regarding long-term employment or career advancement.
- Usage Rights
- By entering the competition, participants grant the Organisers the right to use their submitted videos for promotional and marketing purposes across all media platforms.
- The winner may be required to participate in interviews, shoots, and promotional content related to the campaign and/or TV show.
- General Terms
- The Organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.
- Personal information will be processed solely for the purpose of administering this Competition and may be shared with third-party service providers involved in the process.
- By participating, entrants accept all Competition rules and give consent for their personal details to be used for related communications.
- If the Organisers have reason to believe that an entrant has breached any of these terms or engaged in fraudulent, dishonest, or unfair conduct, the entrant may be disqualified.
- The Organisers are not responsible for: Technical failures or disruptions that prevent submissions. Damage to devices used to participate. Any costs incurred by participants in preparing or submitting entries.
- Limitation of Liability
Participation is at the entrant’s own risk. The Organisers and their affiliates shall not be held liable for:
- Any personal injury or loss arising from participation.
- Delays, cancellations, or any changes to the prize due to force majeure or circumstances beyond their control.
- Any damages caused by late, lost, or misdirected entries, or technical errors.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
- Final Note
- These Terms & Conditions may be supplemented by Competition-specific rules or clarifications as needed.
- In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any other materials, these Terms shall prevail.
